Dark skies, a faint breeze and mild temperatures were on offer, compared to a sunny but windy Saturday. We also saw the arrival of the delegates from the UIM, making a visit to Australia for a conference and to witness the Australian arm of the F1 Superboats in action. Qualifying and racing for the F1 Superboats got under way, after the Juniors and the exciting Blown Unlimited and 6 litre engines put on yet another spectacular show at The Spit.
